Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!

Steve has accepted a new job, that is going to allow us to move to our homestead.  It will be a long commute for him, and a new lifestyle, but we are excited.  This new position will not be as flexible as his current job, so we are going to have to become an early to bed, early rising family.  However, it is also nice that he will not be working after-hours so often.

It's going to be a very busy 2 months of packing, moving, unpacking, and settling in.  But we are thrilled.  Just awhile ago, we were both wondering if we'd ever get to move to our homestead, and now it's finally happening.  We won't get to fix certain things before moving in, as we'd hoped ... but we will slap up some paint, at least.

God has opened the doors and exceeded our expectations re: the salary and benefits we thought we could find in that area.

I haven't been blogging the past two weeks because all I could think about was whether this job would work out, and whether we would be moving.  But, I couldn't blog about it, because of his current job.  So, I just didn't blog.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!  And now the adventure really begins!!

Blessings,
April

  4. Hi there!

Oh, I do not envy you in the joys of moving. Like you, we prayed and prayed for our home to open up in the midwest. We wanted to get out of hotel Washington. Even tho' our home was an answered prayer, the moving experience was quite something. I told John that the only way that I am ever moving from this house is in a body bag! :o)

Best of luck to you. Remember to take your vacuum. :o)
