ElCloud 2009-2010 Homeschool Crew Favorites

Last year our family couldn't narrow our favorites down to a Top Ten, so we posted a Top Twenty.  This year, we took a different approach.   I asked each child to tell me their top 3 favorites.  Since most of  MY favorites didn't seem to end up on THEIR lists ... I had to add my Top Ten, as well.

Here are the lists, in alphabetical order ...

14 yo A Favorites:
ACT Discover online
StudyPod
Worship Guitar DVD (this was not the case when I actually had to write my review, but she has persevered with it and loves it now!)

13 yo R Favorites:
Family Mint website
Mathletics
StudyPod

10 yo C Favorites:
Andrea Carter book
Facts First website
Life On the Farm board game

9 yo J Favorites:
Hank the Cowdog books and game
Life On The Farm board game
Quarter Mile Math

6 yo M Favorites:
All About Reading Beehive Readers
Hank the Cowdog books and game
Life On The Farm board game

4 yo L and 1 yo G Favorites:
Gymathtics DVD
Math Tutor Numbers & Counting DVD

Mom's Favorites:
ACT, Inc. (Discover plus EXPLORE and PLAN assessments)
All About Reading Beehive Readers (review 1 and review 2)
Bright Ideas Press (Mystery of History, All American History)
Graphics Toolbox
Homeschool in the Woods (Olde World Style Maps)
Math Tutor Numbers & Counting DVD
Maverick books (Hank the Cowdog)
Nature Friend Magazine
Quarter Mile Math
Virginia Soaps & Scents

It's been a great year, and we have been blessed by all the vendors on the Crew.  We discovered some great products we'd never heard of before ... and fell in love with other products we wouldn't have tried without the Homeschool Crew.

Thanks to all the vendors, and to TOS Homeschool Crew!

Trusting in Him,

April E.

  2. I spent too much time on it last week and this week. Glad it's done! I wish everyone were having as much luck ... or maybe it's just that they don't have the same amount of time to sit and "try again".

  4. I can't figure out how to do some of the things you did to your blog (like adding the Beatrix Potter quote on the side). Were these things in the video tutorials?
    Thanks,

  5. Gena, I will email this to you, as well ... in case you're not back to see this.

I posted about adding stuff to your sidebars last week ... HERE.

But, I had saved my code from the old blog and was able to cut and past in the things like the Beatrix Potter emblem from my old sidebars. I put the code into text boxes, and saved them. That particular item is created/hosted elsewhere on the web (click it to visit there) and I just had to cut/paste the code.

I hope that helps. If not, just ask more specifically. I'll try to help.

    April
