The questions of a 4 year old

My daughter is in the midst of the "whys?"  She just goes on and on with her questions and her comments about life.

Sometimes she has serious fears like, "Why do I have to die?  I don't want to die."

Sometimes she has fears that aren't questions ... but just statements, like, "I don't want to have my legs cut off."  (Her grandpa had leg amputations due to diabetes before he died)

Sometimes she blurts out things like, "I don't want to have my babies at the hospital."  (Apparently her older sister told her a little too much about how babies are born.)

Her curious questions about our family, like:

"Why do babies have to be taken care of?"
"Why is God giving us another baby?"
"Why did God have to give us Baby G ... he hits me."  (Yeah, and you hit him ... your point?)
"Why does Daddy have to go to work every day?  I want him to stay home."

Other times ... she asks about the world around us ...

"Why is pee yellow?"  (now that's a new one ... why can't she just ask why the sky is blue?)

I think that one takes the cake.  And how did I answer her?  "It just is, L.  God made it that way."

She keeps us on our toes.
