I personally find Mike Thaler's Tales From The Back Pew series to be cute and funny. My children (especially my boys) also enjoy them. However, some families may find the humor to be irreverent, and may not approve of this series. In The Big Inning differs from the rest of the books in the series, as it is just a book full of Bible riddles, and not a child's misunderstanding about an aspect of church life. For those who find the other books to be irreverent, In The Big Inning may be perfectly acceptable. The cartoon-style artwork by Jared Lee remains the same, with many humorous details to find. This is a cute kids book of Bible Riddles that I'm pleased to add to our bookshelf.
