What Would the Founding Father's Think? is a fun book full of cartoon illustrations that takes a look at how our country was designed to run, and how it's actually operating now.  What did the Founding Fathers intend when they wrote the Constitution?  Is our country still following the Constitution?

In David's book, readers take a look at those questions as they follow George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison into the future to teach young people about the Constitution and the history of the government of the United States of America.  This short book is engaging, heavily illustrated, and effective at explaining the purpose of the Constitution and the government, as well as how the government has strayed from the Constitution.  It is an excellent resource for junior high students, and will be a requirement for my junior high students to read.  My 8th grade daughter read it, enjoyed it, and understood it.  Some high school students may enjoy it, but others may feel it is beneath them. I'd love to see David Bowman write another one, geared more for high school students that could supplement their U.S. Government textbooks.

Author's Bio:
"David Bowman graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Illustration. He writes and illustrates all his own books, gearing those books towards teaching and inspiring young people. David is also a popular youth speaker and artist of the Christian fine art series “Expressions of Christ.” He is actively involved with the American Academy for Constitutional Education and other conservative groups. David, and his wife, Natalie, and their four children live in Arizona."

Quote from David Bowman: “There is a huge need for effective materials that help the youth understand how incredibly off track our nation has become. The principles of liberty that are at the founding of this great nation need to be infused into them long before they reach ‘voting age.’ My book does just that, and in a way that is creative and fun.”
