One Hand, Two Hands is a rhyming book written for young children to teach them about serving others with their hands.  Its warm illustrations add charm to the rhyming verses that begin with talking about all the things our hands can do, and then move into ways our hands can serve others.

This is a very sweet book, that is perfect for my 2 and 4 year old children.  I love how it begins with a fun celebration of what our hands can do, and then moves into the more practical ways our hands can help.  It isn't a long story with a moral, but a gentle book that encourages our children to use their hands to serve.

We have collected Max Lucado's children's books for years, but One Hand, Two Hands is definitely geared toward younger children.  I highly recommend this delightful book to other parents of preschool children.

This book was provided free for my review, as a member of  Thomas Nelson's Booksneeze review program.
