If you are behind on laundry, a catastrophe WILL occur.   It could be any of the following things:

• someone will wet the bed
• the toilet will overflow and you'll use all your towels to sop it up
• a stomach virus will sweep through the house and the kids will puke in their beds repeatedly
• the washing machine or dryer will break down
