Yesterday, I found a new favorite quote. I added it to my list, and then I thought I'd share a portion of my list here.
?
Ah! There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort. By Jane Austen
Stay at home, my heart, and rest ... homekeeping hearts are happiest.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Bricks and mortar make a house, but the laughter of children makes a home
Irish Blessing
And the newest one:
The most important work you and I will ever do will be within the walls of our own
homes. Harold B. Lee (1899-1973)
I love that the last one was said by a man. You'd think it was a woman, speaking of being a home maker, but it wasn't. It was a man, and it is true for men, as well as women.
Blessings,
April
