Giveaway! Dancing With My Father by Sally Clarkson

I am thrilled to be able to give away a copy of this latest book by one of my favorite authors, Sally Clarkson!  Her books have been important to me as a Christian woman, helping me to have a vision for raising my children and embracing my role as mother.

The topic of this latest book also fits in perfectly with where I am in life right now.  I have been desiring to have more peace and joy in my life, to display that in my home and to those outside of my family.  I've become bogged down with all there is to do, raising a family, taking care of housework, homeschooling, and just getting the next thing done.  The repetitiveness of it all and the urgency of each crisis can pull my focus away from God, and bring on the "blahs".

Cultivating joy is the topic that Sally tackles in Dancing With My Father.  Drawing from her own experiences and her own realization that she needed to consciously cultivate joy in her life, she has written a book that will touch the hearts of busy Christian women everywhere.  I know it is just what I need right now!

Scroll down to the end to find out how to win a copy of it for yourself!

Thanks to Waterbrook-Multnomah for providing a free copy of this book for me to review, and one to give away, as well.  I received no other compensation for this review.

Publisher's Summary:
The reality of living in a broken, fallen world can leave women feeling overcome by fear, guilt, and weariness. Many develop “sawdust souls,” numb to any sense of joy.

In this warm and wise book, author Sally Clarkson invites readers to take God’s hand and let Him lead them into a life of anticipation, passion, and purpose. With the voice of a trusted mentor, she reveals how, by getting in tune with the rhythm of God’s presence, women can nurture an inner attitude of anticipation and celebration even in the stressful seasons of life.

Book sounds very uplifting and inspiring.

  4. As I'm sure you know, time for your own reading is limited, so books have to be chosen carefully. I am currently reading Loving Our Kids on Purpose and would love to read this book next. I've been struggling for a long time with "balancing" life and seem, too often, to barely make it through the day. If I don't win, I will have scour the library system to locate it!

Thanks a bunch for your encouraging blog.
